The shift was subtle but decisive. The technology advanced. The narrative didn't survive contact with reality.

Fourth, rebalance autonomy expectations. The most successful implementations in 2024–25 were assistive, not fully autonomous. Human-in-the-loop systems proved more resilient and more acceptable to stakeholders. The race to maximum autonomy has given way to calibrated orchestration.
The Human Reframe
Technology never lands in isolation. It lands in organisations.

It will be determined by who built the systems to make them durable.
